For technical reasons relating to mould construction, the distance between the punches can be double or triple the perforation pitch. Therefore, in certain processes, the perforation pattern is only completed after the second and sometimes after the third punch. The same applies to the end of the perforated area.

The start and end can be made regular in many perforations as long as previously agreed upon.

Technical Details

In perforated sheets, the direction of perforation is usually aligned with the largest side of the sheet. Reverse pattern must be specifically requested.

In general, standard sheets up to 2 mm thick have minimal solid edges only on the long sides.

Sheets up to 3 mm thick have minimal solid edges on both the short and long sides. On specific request we can also supply sheets with different edges. See our catalogue for more details.

Also available, on the basis of drawings or technical specifications, are micro-perforated sheets, edges or unperforated areas inside the sheet. Please send drawing or technical specifications.

Perimetric Edges
Edges on long sides only

The perforation process is followed by flattening, which makes the sheets flat thanks to the weight of the press mould.

For some productions, fixing holes, folds, discs, curvatures are made, if previously agreed upon at the time of quotation.
